In the wake of the unimaginable tragedy, a mission was born. </li>
<li><strong>What event does 31Heroes hold?</strong> 31Heroes first, and most popular event, is the 31Heroes WOD (workout of the day). This WOD is a 31 minute group AMRAP (as many reps as possible) and consists of 8 thrusters, 6 rope climbs, 11 box jumps, with partners rotating the 400m sandbag carries.</li>
<li><strong>How many participate in the event</strong> 31Heroes is an event that came in the immediate response to help the family of the 30 who were lost. Launched in 2011, the first year of the event raised $300,000 through 430 gyms in just a short few weeks. 4 years later, the 31HEROES WOD has been completed by 35,000 participants in 15 countries and has raised $1.5 million.
