about Team Rubicon

Team Rubicon is an organization that unites the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders to rapidly deploy emergency response teams. Team Rubicon aims to ""bridge the gap"" between military and civilian life by providing our veterans with three things they lose after leaving the military: a purpose, community, and self-worth.

Operation Geaux Big

After deploying a recon team to evaluate the flooding along the Gulf Coast, Team Rubicon recently sent 73 volunteers to assist in ongoing flood response and recovery efforts in Ascension Parish, Louisiana. Team Rubicon’s task force will provide: damage assessment, muck outs, debris removal, and volunteer management to affected communities in coordination with local and state authorities.

To date, Team Rubicon’s volunteers of veterans have logged 1,380 hours of service and assistance to local authorities, saving $38,003 in local costs.
