How to Absorb More Protein in Each Meal

What's going on Hylete nation? It's Thomas DeLauer and I'm gonna give you three ways to increase how your body absorbs protein in one minute or less.

First one is to take vitamin B6. Vitamin B6 is also known as pyridoxine. What it does is it helps break down protein, but then it takes those dismantled amino acids and delivers them to the bloodstream and delivers them to where they need to go. The problem is, a lot of times vitamin B6 gets washed away during cooking so we have to supplement it. Add that.

Next one is going to be adding higher glycemic carbohydrates and eliminating fats when you consume protein if it's after very strenuous exercise. The high glycemic index and the insulin spike is gonna help your body absorb more protein.

The third one you can do is increase your intake of lemon, kale, and apple cider vinegar. What this is gonna do is help stimulate more hydrochloric acid. What hydrochloric acid does in the body is it increases something known as pepsinogen. This pepsinogen increases pepsin. What pepsin does is increase more hydrochloric acid in your body to actually break down the protein literally in your stomach so that the rest of the process can start.
