SHOW OR NO SHOW: Find out what makes the HYLETE Waistband unlike any other drawstring system.

HYLETE’s patented waistband system is utilized in the verge flex-wovenvertex flex-knithelix flex-knit, flexion short and pant to create a secure fit without cinching or scrunching. The waistband system stretches up to 4-inches and features a patented two way drawstring that can be worn internally or externally. You can also flip the entire waistband down which will have the string on the front for more of a “mixed martial arts” look. In the two years since the HYLETE patent was granted for a pair of shorts with multiple wearing options on the drawstring and waist, HYLETE has added the waistband to new fabrics and offerings such as the flexion shorts.

Simply loop the strings towards the inside of the waistband for a “no-show” look. This unique feature allows for customization of not only the appearance of your shorts, but also the feel. Although HYLETE provides many size options for shorts, tying up on the inside vs. outside could mean a tighter or more loose feel that’s perfect for you. The string itself is thick and has silicone non-slip strips to ensure you only have to tie your shorts once.

Some other shorts have a thin drawstring that is tied using a three-hole system kind of like tying a shoe. This is not ideal because the string often comes undone due to its thinness leaving you with shorts that are visibly undone (thanks to the three holes) and literally falling off. HYLETE’s waistband stretches 4-inches out AND in, meaning you can tighten the waistband a whole lot too, unlike other drawstrings that don’t give much in the way of extra string. Thanks to the waistband system, you’ll never have to pull the entire waistband out of a pair of shorts and relegate them to “home shorts” ever again. HYLETE’s shorts are for athletic performance but of course they’re comfortable and useful enough to wear around the house too.

Wear HYLETE shorts for functional fitness workouts, bodybuilding, running, sports practice, obstacle course races—any physical activity—and the last thing you’ll be thinking about is adjusting your drawstring or your shorts falling off. The durable nylon, spandex and polyester in HYLETE shorts can withstand rain, barbells, chalk, mud, and even barbed wire when put to the test.
