"What inspires me about Back on My Feet, is the community's ability to rally and mobilize around an issue, around an individual, and to wait for someone at the finish line with a high five, a smile, and a word of encouragement that goes (pun intended) miles. It really goes to support people in the community, whether homeless or not, who may be going through something difficult in their lives."
HYLETE's 2016 goal
Back on My Feet provides more than just an opportunity; they provide the tools and resources to help these individuals. Everything from running shoes and gear, first and last months rent on new housing, transportation to new jobs and even work uniforms are all provided for the transition to independence. On average it costs $1,800 to help one member. HYLETE has teamed with BoMF with the goal of helping 10 members nationwide to reclaim their independence. That’s a goal of $18,000 that will be raised through he sales of our BoMF tri-blend crew tee. 50% of the revenue through the sale of the shirt goes directly to Back on My Feet.
