The following is a transcription of the above video:
When it comes down to getting outside this summer and getting active, one of the most important things that you have to pay attention to is how easy it is to transition from your regular life into your active life. And quite honestly, that's why I'm a huge fan of the HYLETE verge II shorts. Simply because I can roll from the office into the kitchen, be totally comfortable all day, and then go right into the pool for a swim and jump right out of the water right into a workout.
I'm going to break down a little bit about the verge II shorts and why I'm a huge fan of them. Because once I started wearing them, I totally understood what HYLETE was talking about. Okay, the first thing I want to talk about is flat-out the fabric. Okay, the fabric is unlike any other kind of shorts you're going to find. See, they have a little bit of flex to them no matter what. And you have flex in all the right places that you're not going to ever feel hung up. You're not going to be binding up all the time.
But some of the other things that are really interesting are going to be the patented waistband. This is not a normal waistband. It actually provides up to four inches of flex. So you end up getting a significant amount of movement throughout any range of motion that you go through when you're working out when you're sitting at the desk, or even when you're swimming.
Now one of my all-time favorite things about these shorts, too, is the fact that there's a reversible drawstring. So, if you want to be sporting the drawstring on the outside, no problem. Then, if you want to actually flip it around, you can tuck it into the inside, so you don't have to deal with it hanging out and pushing out your shirt a little bit. All you do is simply push it through. Boom. It's on the outside.
Now, additionally the drawstrings also have these ribs on them, so they're not going to become untied every single time you're jumping in the water or every time you start hitting it with a barbell or something like that. One of the big things about it.
Last but not least, one of the major things that are huge for these, and it's going to help keep your family happy, is that there is an anti-microbial layer on the fabric itself. What that means is it's odor resistant. So you can sweat in these puppies all day long, and realistically go right back into the office and not offend the rest of your crew. Now, I don't advise doing that day in and day out, but you can get away with it at least a couple of times before people start to get mad at you.
And of course, we're always working out with our phones. Whether you have Bluetooth headphones or still using corded ones, you're still putting your phone in your pocket 9 times out of 10. That's one of the things that's super awesome about these, is being able to tuck your iPhone or your Android in there and zip it on up. So you can start hanging upside down and do whatever you need to do and not worry about dropping your $800 phone.
So that's why when it comes down to getting outside, changing your life, shifting your gears from the workplace to home life, right into being active and getting into the gym, the verge II shorts are probably the best choice for you. As always, keep it locked in here with HYLETE, and I'll see in the next video.
